Lemon Grove Adopts Joint Use Agreement


The Lemon Grove School District Board and Lemon Grove City Council approved a Joint Use Agreement in October and November 2015, respectively, for the newly constructed outdoor recreation facilities at Lemon Grove Academy Middle School. The facilities including the softball field, blacktop courts, open fields, and a running and walking track will be open for general public use on Saturdays.

This partnership between the City and the School District for cooperative joint use of recreation facilities on School District property allows for community recreation use that would not otherwise be possible due to lack of available open space. Regular partner engagement and access to expert technical assistance from ChangeLab Solutions was utilized in the development and adoption of the agreement.
