Students Take Pledge Not to Get Caught “Red-Handed” in Hollywood High School

02-01-2015

The F.A.M.E. (Fit, Active, Motivated, and Empowered) Health Club and Healthy Athletes Committee students said enough is enough with the black market sales of hot Cheetos at Hollywood High School. In an effort to bring awareness to students' eating choices and their subsequent effects on the human body, Hollywood High students began by writing an article for the school newspaper highlighting the benefits of healthy snacks and healthy fundraisers on campus. During lunch, students were invited to take the 'No Hot Cheeto' pledge and exchange their bags of chips for a smoothie or water along with a piece of fruit. Nearly 220 students signed the pledge during the week long campaign.
